The Masked Singer has returned to ITV for a fifth season, with 12 new characters revealing clues about their identities. Joel Dommett made a comeback as host of the celebrity singing competition, and judges Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan are back to guess who they think is behind the mask.
The first episode of the new season of The Masked Singer aired on Saturday, December 30th, at 7 p.m. This year, the mystery singers will be taking on roles such as Chicken Caesar, Bubble Tea, the Eiffel Tower and Air Fryer. And the characters have already revealed the first clues about their identities.

Who was unmasked on The Masked Singer?
Week 8: Eiffel Tower | Tiffany Darwish
Description: they consist of steel stuff.
First note: “I’m a huge fan of the show, it worked out great.”
American singer-songwriter Tiffany Darwish, who wrote the 1987 cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now,” was at the Eiffel Tower.
Week 7: Air Fryer | Keala Settle
Description: Here for a roast visit.
First note: “Taking part in The Masked Singer is both terrifying and liberating.”
In episode seven, it was revealed that star of stage and screen Keala Settle was the celebrity hiding in the air fryer.
Week 6: Maypole | Melody Thornton
Description: Here to take us on a happy dance.
First note: “Keeping it a secret wasn’t actually that difficult. I decided to just hide in plain sight!”
As we all learned in episode six, American singer and Pussycat Dolls lead singer Melody Thornton was the star who lent his voice to Maypole.
Week 6: Dippy Egg | Nicky Campbell
Description: A great performance is guaranteed.
First note: “This is a unique experience.”
Scottish broadcaster and journalist Nicky Campbell had been hiding in Dippy Egg, but everything was revealed in the fifth episode.
Week 5: Owl | Lorraine Kelly
Description: They are a real screamer.
First note: “I just want to have fun!”
In the fifth episode, Owl was unmasked; the suit was hiding long-time television presenter Lorraine Kelly.
Week 4: Bubble Tea | Julia Sawalha
Description: They are everyone’s cup of tea.
First note: “What I like most about becoming a bubble tea maker is that I can be really playful.”
In episode four, Bubble Tea’s true identity was revealed and it turned out to be Julia Sawalha, an actress best known for her role as Saffy in Absolutely Fabulous.
Week 3: Rat | Shirley Ballas
Description: Get ready to scream and jump on a chair.
First note: “The nervousness I had on The Masked Singer is the worst nervousness I have ever had in my life.”
Rat was unmasked in Episode 3 and revealed to be Shirley Ballas, a professional dancer and judge on Strictly Come Dancing.
Week 2: Chicken Caesar | Alexander Armstrong
Description: Ready to get the most out of it.
First note: “I’m Chicken Caesar! It’s great to be here.”
Chicken Caesar was revealed to be Alexander Armstrong, the host of Pointless and comedian known for his double act with Ben Miller called Armstrong and Miller.
Week 1: Weather | Dionne Warwick
Description: Ready to storm the stage.
First note: “They know that the weather is very unpredictable.”
Weather was revealed in the first episode to be Dionne Warwick, the legendary singer of Walk On By and I Say a Little Prayer.
