Thanks to Chris Jericho, he will be missing from tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite on July 10 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Jericho has been involved in a rivalry with HOOK for some time now and sometimes the rivalry spills over when it comes to interactions with HOOK’s father, Taz.

Taz, who normally does commentary for AEW Dynamite, is absent from tonight’s show and has been replaced by Nigel McGuinness.

Main announcer Exalibur explained that Jericho and The Elite were the reason for Taz’s absence. Excalibur said:

“Taz is actually in the city of Calgary. He came to the building, but because Chris Jericho interfered with the EVPs, he was denied entry to the Saddledome and had to return to the hotel. That’s why we have Nigel McGuinness as our guest tonight.”

A similar situation occurred last week when Taz started the show on commentary but was thrown out of the arena when Jericho took his place for a match.

Jericho is still the FTW Champion, a title he now calls the “For The World” Championship, as another dig at Taz, who invented the title in ECW as the “F**k The World” Championship.

Jericho will be in action tonight on AEW Dynamite in the “Stampede Street Fight” against Samoa Joe.
