Chris Paul reveals San Antonio Spurs legends texted him

On Tuesday, Chris Paul was officially introduced in the media for the first time as a member of the San Antonio Spurs.

Paul was coming off a year in which he averaged 9.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game in 58 games for the Golden State Warriors.

During his press conference, Paul revealed that he had received text messages from Hall of Famers Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginóbili (h/t Michael C. Wright of NBA.com).

Spurs fans will probably be happy about this information.

Duncan helped the Spurs win five NBA titles (Parker and Ginóbili won four).
