Lena Dunham protects Taylor Swift in “Every Single Way”

Lena Dunham will always come to the aid of her friend Taylor Swift.

“I’m always very protective of her in every way,” she explained. “The two things I probably get asked most in life are ‘What’s Taylor like?’ and ‘Can I have tickets to the Eras tour?’ And usually my answer to both questions is no.”

Although Dunham keeps the details of her friend’s life strictly to herself, she said Swift is “everything you would want her to be.”

“She’s kind, she’s devoted, she’s thoughtful, she’s emotional, she’s damn funny,” she added. “I think my feeling sometimes is, Doesn’t she give us enough, folks??”

The Treasure The star may not be helping her friends and family get tickets to the Eras tour, but you can expect to see her singing her heart out in concert sometime soon.

“I sometimes like to travel to cities that are a little off the beaten track,” she said of her participation in the record-breaking tour.

Dunham explained that not only has she been friends with Swift for a long time, but she has always felt a personal connection to her music and that she can no longer hold back when performing.

“I said (to my husband Luis Felber) before our visit, ‘Listen, you’ve never seen me like this before,'” she recalls. “It’s like something is going through me – it’s my church. I start speaking in tongues. Even before Taylor and I were friends, I had always felt such a deep connection to her music.”

“I’ve seen every tour she’s ever done,” she continued. “I love seeing a woman who’s not yet forty saying, ‘Yes, I have a body of work.’ What I find inspiring is her acknowledgment of her own productive expression.”
