Why Travis Kelce skipped Taylor Swift’s Eras tour shows in Zurich

Travis Kelce attended two of Taylor Swift’s three concerts on her Amsterdam Eras Tour last weekend, most recently performing with her on July 6. However, Kelce was not seen in the audience at Swift’s concerts in Zurich on July 9 and 10.

His absence is not too surprising, as the Kansas City Chiefs player will begin his team’s NFL training camp on Sunday, July 21. Kansas City’s Sports Radio 810 WHB also reports divided that both Travis Kelce and his brother Jason will participate in the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada this weekend. The event will take place from July 10-14, according to the website.

It is unclear whether Kelce has already arrived, but his brother was already photographed there. For anyone wondering: The flight from Amsterdam, where Kelce was last seen, to Lake Tahoe takes over 11 hours.

Given the tournament schedule, it is unlikely that Kelce will attend Swift’s performances in Milan, as the concerts take place this Saturday and Sunday.

Nevertheless, Swift and Kelce are no strangers to the long-distance relationship. A source told Entertainment tonight on June 14 that the couple “both stagger their schedules when possible and try to carve out as much time as possible for each other and each other’s families and friends. They put each other first and do whatever they can to make each other happy. Their relationship is real and they both want it to work, so it works.”

On July 2, a source also said People“They are really, really happy together. They are very serious about each other and the relationship feels different to both of them.”

They also talked about their future plans as Kelce’s football season begins: “Football is definitely still his priority, but so is his relationship. He makes romantic gestures to show that he’s thinking of her when they’re apart. She’ll try to attend as many games as possible.”
