The week of July 8 The summer I became pretty was filmed on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill (where Jenny Han and I went to school!) and fans were more than excited to see Christopher Briney on campus.

With his new costume and blonder hair than before, Conrad looks a bit older, wiser, and more mature – and as a fan of Belly x Conrad, I think he will look even better next to Lola Tung ;).
Your first look at the third season of “The Summer I Turned Pretty”

I gasped when I saw this first look at all the characters in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3. Prime Video goes live Summer Watch Parties with the cast (and some exclusive commentary on their favorite episodes), and the sign-up page featured Belly, Conrad, and the rest of the gang! We see Lola Tung, Rain Spencer, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, and Sean Kaufman hanging out at the Cousins Beach house, and right off the bat, everything looks brand new. Both Stephen and Taylor have grown their hair long, while Conrad looks a little blonder than last season. But thankfully, the characters still have their bohemian, American style that I would call the show’s trademark! I can’t wait to see them back in action.

We had hoped to see The summer I became pretty Season 3 returns in 2024, but thanks to a new article from the official TSITP Account, we know that the show will be released in the summer of 2025. Okay, to be honest, that’s totally annoying (only because we can’t wait to see it!!), but as the books say, “It ain’t summer without you (er, Belly and her friends).”
Lola Tung played Euridyce in Hadestown on Broadway until March 17, 2024. During the official press day – which you can find on Tick Tock – she told me that while she doesn’t know too much about Belly’s arc this season, she’s just as excited to return to Cousins Beach as we are! “I’m just really excited to be back with everyone and to be able to step into Belly’s shoes again. I’m super excited,” she says.

Who does Conrad end up with in the series “The Summer I Turned Pretty”?

We don’t know who Conrad will end up with, The summer I became pretty Season 3, there’s a theory that says his reunion with Belly will be better than ever. Lola Tung, Rain Spencer, Gavin Casalegno and other cast members were spotted in Wilmington – all except Chris Briney.@julevere wonders if there is a reason they film in chronological order.
“Conrad isn’t seen in Book 3 for ages,” she says. “What if Jenny (Han) does that on purpose, so that the moment in the show when Conrad and Belly first see each other is (in a way) the first time the two actors actually see each other as… Belly and Conrad.”
Waiting as long as possible for Lola Tung and Chris Briney to see each other means that Belly and Conrad’s reunion will be more intense and will bring up all the old emotions (and infinity chains) that came up in Season 2. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this show, it’s that you can’t run away from your feelings forever, and as a member of #TeamConrad, I hope any reunion between the two brings them together for possible future seasons.

In the first season, Conrad is a freshman in college while the other characters are still in high school. And at the start of the second season, Steven is graduating from high school!

Although The summer I became pretty is set on the coast of Massachusetts, the series is filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina. This city is actually quite well known in Hollywood – projects like Iron-Man 3,OneTreeHillAnd Outer banks filmed there! As someone who went to Wilmington every summer as a kid, I can promise you it’s as beautiful as it looks (and the fair from season 2 is just as fun!!)

There is no fourth The summer I became pretty book, but that doesn’t mean the series has to end with season 3. They have already changed a few details from the books – namely adding the relationship between Stephen and Taylor reminds me how gossip Girl gave us Chuck and Blair, a fan-favorite ship that wasn’t in those books either! I’m excited to see how the story (and characters) continue to grow and develop!

Prime Video announced the extension on August 3just before episode five of season two hits the streaming service. Just like in the trailer for season two, “August” by Taylor Swift is playing in the background and I’m moved to tears.
