At the Fort Myers Tip-Off on Wednesday afternoon, the pairings and dates for the men’s side of the tournament were announced, with the highlight of the first day of play being the meeting between Michigan and Virginia Tech.

The Beach (Michigan, Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Xavier) and Palms (Miami of Ohio, Siena, Jacksonville and Mercer) divisions play Nos. 25-27 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena.

Tip-Off for women: Dawn Staley and South Carolina headline the 2024 Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off, including Iowa State and Purdue

The four Beach Division games, scheduled for Nov. 25 and 27, will be played at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. both days. FS1 will televise all four contests nationally. Michigan will face Virginia Tech in the first game on Nov. 25 at 6 p.m., with Xavier and South Carolina facing off at 8:30 p.m. The third-place and championship games will be Nov. 27.

In the Palms Division, Miami (OH) will face Siena at 11 a.m. on Nov. 25, followed by Jacksonville and Mercer at 1:30 p.m. The teams return to the field on Nov. 26, with the third-place game at 11 a.m. and the championship game at 1:30 p.m. All Palms Division games will be streamed on FSWBucs.com.
