A 8,000-square-foot, five-bedroom villa with a decidedly colorful interior has attracted a lot of attention online this week after it hit the market for 4.5 million euros ($4.9 million).

The house, called Villa Barton, is part of the exclusive Churchfield estate, which consists of 20 houses overlooking the K Club golf course in County Kildare.

Featuring five bedrooms and six bathrooms, a gym, a bar and a truly impressive monitor suite in the office, the mansion has caused quite a stir after being brought to the market by French Estates. Why? It’s interior design!

From the bright yellow bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen to the reddest lobby and staircase landings you’ve ever seen, this Kildare home is something special.

The house is listed as a Tuscan-style village with “opulent” and lavish Baroque-style interiors. The property includes manicured lawns with views of the nearby lake and has two spacious outdoor terraces.

A big selling point for the property is that it is accessed directly through the main gates of the K Club, which includes a five-star hotel, golf course and spa. The property is being offered for sale with a mandatory golf club membership. This membership provides access to the golf courses, health club membership, fishing and discounted hotel services.

Despite all the advantages that this luxury home offers, the public did not mince their words when assessing the interior.
