Famous New York nightclub revokes conservative journalist’s membership

Conservative journalist Caitlin Sinclair wished fathers a happy Father’s Day on Instagram on Sunday. She ended her post with the reminder: “You are here because your father is not gay.”

She is not wrong.

Still, the post cost Sinclair her membership at a fancy New York City nightclub called Zero Bond. “They literally said, ‘We’re kicking you out because of your political views,'” Sinclair told the New York Post over the weekend about the incident.

Membership manager Duncan Menaker sent Sinclair an email on Wednesday telling her to “stop using the club.” Menaker, whom Sinclair called a “friend,” also told her he had canceled her $3,850 annual membership.

Sinclair, the newly appointed spokeswoman for Turning Point Action, says Menaker attributed the decision to “insulting” club members.

“He said I insulted their members. You know what? Their members insult me,” Sinclair told the Post. “There are members there who are huge Trump haters.”

“I was simply stating a fact. We cannot be born without a man and a woman. I’m not saying I don’t support LBGTQ+. I have trans and gay friends – I’ve never said anything offensive.”

Sinclair adds that club founder Scott Sartiano once told her that her beliefs were welcome. “We need diversity in the club, so we’re glad you’re here,” she recalls him saying.

“They only want diversity if it fits their agenda,” Sinclair notes.

She reminded readers that Zero Bond continues to allow other members to use the club even though they attend “pro-Hamas rallies and drag queen events.”

“Many of the members there hate Trump and were standing outside the courthouse,” she continues. “They’re friends, they’re big liberals. We can have different views, but we can still go out and party together.”

Unfortunately, the club’s hypocrisy does not surprise us. Political hypocrisy permeates large parts of society.

Blame the victim hierarchy.

As a straight, white, conservative woman, Sinclair is only above white, conservative men in the pyramid. Gays, liberals, creepy drag queens, and even Hamas sympathizers are much higher up—and can still visit the club.

And it doesn’t help that “Zero Bond” is often packed with celebrities like Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson and Mayor Eric Adams – all of whom are avowed liberals.

Plus, the club is based in New York City, which Sinclair admits played a role in how the club treated her. “In New York, conservatives are governed by different rules,” she concluded.

And American culture in general.

The list of institutions that are manipulated against conservatives is exhaustively long. To name a few: Hollywood, media, academia, comedy, sports, the music industry, Big Tech (especially Google), and even the New York Times bestseller list.

You could also add nightclubs to the list…
