Rita Ora talks about her participation in Taylor Swift’s Eras tour with Katy Perry

Rita Ora had a charming Epoch tour Experience. The 33-year-old singer spoke about participating Taylor Swift‘s concert together with her husband, Taika Waititiand buddy Katy Perry in Sydney, Australia, earlier this year.

“The pop girls have really come together,” she joked during an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Ora called Perry “my buddy” and said the duo happened to be working on different gigs Down Under at the same time.

“Of course everyone in the world saw the Eras tour, so I went,” she joked. “So of course I went and just wanted to hang out. And I saw Katy.”

Ora and Perry were photographed while chatting in the VIP tent during Swift’s performance on February 23 at Accor Stadium. Also present was Swift’s boyfriend, the tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelceand Australian Aborigines Toni Collette And Baz Luhrmann.

“It was so crazy because I think when there are multiple people together, the energy is almost amplified,” Ora admitted. The Tonight Show.

She added with a laugh: “Then you walk around thinking you’re bigger than you actually are.”

After the show, Ora shared a series of snaps from the festivities on her Instagram account. In one, she and Waititi pose backstage with Swift. In another, she playfully shows off an armful of friendship bracelets.

The “Let You Love Me” singer also shared pictures with Perry and Kelce.

“It’s fair to say that Sydney always delivers – or let’s say our TayTay @taylorswift always delivers!” she captioned her post. “Thank you for letting us be there! When I saw my KP, @KatyPerry has filled my heart 🥹 (too) many queens to count!”

At the time, Perry’s performance made headlines because of her complex shared history with the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer. Perry even poked fun at the duo’s past drama, sharing a video of herself making a shocked face while singing along to “Bad Blood” – Swift’s blistering 2014 anthem that was rumored to have been written about her.

During her late-night appearance, Ora announced Perry’s own return to music. The “I Kissed a Girl” singer will release a new song, “Woman’s World,” on July 11.

“It was the first time I’d seen her in ages,” Ora said of her Eras reunion. “She’s putting out music and everyone’s just doing their own thing.”

Ora, for her part, has just released her new single “Ask & You Shall Receive” and is currently promoting her role as the iconic Queen of Hearts in the upcoming Disney musical. Descendants – The Rise of Red.

The film will be released on Disney+ on July 12th.
