Shaboozey “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” No. 1 on the Hot 100 Charts

Shaboozey “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” No. 1 on the Hot 100 Charts

Shaboozey is making waves this summer with his single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and the latest stats prove it. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” hit #1 on the US Hot 100 chart this week while also topping the Hot Country Songs chart. Shaboozey is making history as he now has the first song by a black male artist to chart on both charts simultaneously.

The song was released in early April and has been steadily climbing to the top of the charts this summer, proving to be the anthem of the season. Recently performing the song at Mike Rubin’s famous all-white Fourth of July performance, the song continues to be a hit. The song hit No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart shortly after the artist’s debut on Stagecoach, replacing Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em.” After appearing on many of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Album, Shaboozey’s popularity skyrocketed. All the tracks he made with Beyoncé, including “Spaghettii,” “Sweet * Honey Buckiin’,” also landed him on the Hot 100 list. His current LP “Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going” is currently at number 8 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Other notable places on the list include Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department Album, which is at number 1 for the eleventh week in a row. New artists like Sabrina Carpenter made it into the top 10 this week with “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” at numbers 4 and 6 respectively.
