My goodness, it’s been an explosive season of Love Island, hasn’t it? Just when it felt like the girls couldn’t handle any more Ls, a big W arrived on Monday (July 8) as two new boys arrived in the villa. Result.

Reuben Collins and Josh Sunday Oyinsan wasted no time in making an impression by taking newly single Mimii Ngulube, Uma Jammeh (who has been suffering from Wil Anderson’s ailment since “Casa Amor”) and Jessy Potts (who is dating Joey Essex) out on a date.

Reuben, 23, has his sights set on Mimii, Uma and Grace Jackson. Before moving into the villa, Reuben said the girls were “all stunning”, adding: “But it’s all about their attitude and how they carry themselves as people.”

Reuben described his type as follows: “I want someone who is down to earth, that’s the main thing. Someone who knows what he wants. A passionate person.”

He also has some unexpected hobbies. “I’m a pretty passionate person, whether it’s in love or in my hobbies, like learning languages, I love musicals and going to the gym. Other people with passion inspire me,” he said.

As an islander, he will be a fun guy, says Reuben – “(I’m) someone who likes to have fun and just do what he wants. Sometimes I might be a bit too honest.”

“Ultimately, I’m going to approach the woman I want, and if I have to step on someone’s toes, I’ll do that. I don’t mind making a little fool of myself. I love a little eye contact. I speak a little Spanish, so I’ll use that to get the girls’ attention.”
