(FOX40.COM) — Sacramento police are asking for help locating two children and their father after their mother was found dead in an apartment building.
On Wednesday around 7:30 p.m., SPD responded to a 911 call in the 3700 block of Didcot Circle. Upon arrival, officers found a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators determined the woman had two children who were missing: 4-year-old Athena Lee and 2-year-old Mateo Lee. Police suspect the children are with their father, 38-year-old Cameron Lee, with whom they have not been able to make contact.
SPD said they are searching for Cameron Lee to determine the children’s whereabouts. He may be driving a gray 2023 Honda Passport with California license plate: 9JUS091. Anyone with information on Cameron Lee’s whereabouts is asked by police to call Sacramento police at (916) 808-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
