Contestants must be residents of Bureau County and be under 24 months of age as of September 6. Contest entries must be emailed to [email protected] by 11:59 p.m. local time on Wednesday, August 7.

To enter, email a high-resolution, snapshot-sized color photo of the child to [email protected]. Do not submit photos that have been cropped or altered. Also, no professional photos will be accepted. The email must also include: child’s name, gender, date of birth, current age, parent’s name, parent’s address, and two valid phone numbers.

In-person voting begins at noon on Friday, August 9th and continues through noon on Friday, September 6th. Ballot containers will be located at Midland States Bank (August 9th-16th), First State Bank (August 16th-23rd), Central Bank (August 23rd-30th) and Heartland Bank – South Branch (August 30th – September 6th). Containers will be changed around noon on Fridays. Each child will be given a container with his/her corresponding photo to cast his/her vote in.

PJWC will once again accept Venmo for vote collection. To vote via Venmo, send a desired transaction amount to @P-Juniors-71. Voters must include the baby’s name in the “What’s it for?” line. Venmo votes will only be accepted from Friday, August 9th at noon to Thursday, September 5th at noon.

One dollar equals 100 votes. All votes will be counted and winners will be notified on September 6th and announced during the Homestead Festival announcements that evening.

Prizes will be awarded to the boys’ and girls’ winners and to the boys’ and girls’ runners-up. All winners and their parents will have a spot in the Homestead Festival parade on Saturday.

The Princeton Junior Woman’s Club will donate all proceeds from this contest to communities and organizations in Bureau County through various projects run by their club.
