Taylor Swift and Post Malone release new versions of “Fortnight”

Taylor Swift is in her lover-girl era thanks to her bubbly relationship with Travis Kelce. But you can’t tell from her latest music.

Swift’s latest The “Tortured Poets” section The heartbreak anthem “Fortnight” is a clear example of this. Yesterday (July 8), Swift drove the dagger even deeper by releasing two new versions of the chart-topping track.

The first is a sultry acoustic rendition that fits well with the dark nature of the work. With Swift’s The Epoch Tour This arrangement is currently making the rounds around the globe and will surely premiere on stage soon to appease the inner romantic in every Swiftie.

Next comes a collaboration that many fans weren’t expecting. Swift hired the indie pop band Cults for the faster remix. The group wrote a touching thank you message to Swift on their official Instagram account.

“Honored to have the opportunity to remix the song ‘Fortnight’ by the legend @taylorswift,” they wrote.

When Swift released the official video for the song, she had some kind words of her own for Post Malone. “Post Malone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero,” she wrote. “I’m so grateful for everything he put into this collaboration.”
