Morehouse Instrument Company has published a new book on the force calibration process.

The York-based company announced the publication of the third edition of “Force Calibration for Engineers: Important Conditions, Methods and Systems That Affect Force Calibration Results.”

Written by Henry Zumbrun, President of Morehouse Instrument Company, the book is a free, authoritative guide designed to help both beginners and experienced professionals with force measurement and calibration.

“We wrote this book to simplify the complexity of force measurement and provide valuable insights from our extensive industry experience,” Zumbrun said in a press release. “Our goal is to help technicians and quality managers make more accurate and reliable measurements to ensure safety and precision in their work.”

According to the company’s website, customers rely on Morehouse Instrument Company for “force calibration services for their load cells, test rings, force gauges, dynamometers, crane scales, aircraft scales and other force measuring equipment.”

The 333-page book covers topics essential to understanding and improving force calibration processes. “Readers will find extensive discussions of the fundamentals of force measurement, detailed explanations of various calibration methods, and guidance on selecting the right equipment,” a press release states.
