The Acolyte Episode 7 was just released and the episode ended with a brand new song. The Acolyte Episode 7 showed another flashback to Brendok sixteen years ago. However, viewers didn’t just get to see Osha’s (Amandla Stenberg) perspective on the events that killed her entire family, but from several different perspectives, including that of the Jedi and Osha’s sister Mae. In this flashback, viewers see how the witches of Brendok really died and how the Jedi covered up their mistakes on Brendok.

The first six episodes of The Acolyte ended with instrumental music played over the ending. This music varied from episode to episode, but was always connected to the music played earlier in that episode. The Acolyte Episode 7 changes that and offers a brand new song instead with singing in it. war of stars is known for its iconic scores, especially by John Williams, but The Acolyte For variety, the introduction of a song that is based on the show and does not appear in it.

“The Power Of Two” was written for the acolyte

The song is sung by Victoria Monét

The AcolyteComposer Michael Abels collaborated with Victoria Monét and D’Mile to write and produce the song, which was released in The Acolyte End credits of episode 7. The song “Power of Two” was inspired by the show and the title alone is reminiscent of the song of the witches of Brendok In The Acolyte Episode 3. In addition, the Sith Lord Qimir Osha said in The Acolyte Episode 6 that he got the “Power of two.” While this can be linked to the Sith Rule of Two, the wording used by Qimir seems to be a reference to the witches of Osha’s home planet.

The song alludes to the relationship between Mae and Osha

When listening to “The Power Of Two” it is clear that the song is alluding to the twins Mae and Osha. The song contains lyrics like “But you are mine / Twin flame / I am ashamed when they call me by your name” Emphasize the connection between the twins Osha and Mae and how both at one point during The Acolyte be confused with the other. This text in particular could suggest that Osha or Mae might be ashamed of the other’s actions.

Mae hates that Osha was a Jedi, whereas Osha cannot forgive Mae for killing Jedi or starting the fire that she believes killed her family. Other lines in “The Power of Two” hint at feelings of guilt and losing a fight with one’s better half. These texts suggest that since Mae and Osha are a convergence in the Force, they will forever be at odds with each other, no matter who they are allied with. With only one episode left in The AcolyteHopefully the audience will get some answers about the future of Osha and Mae’s relationship.
