Besides Linklater, Ricci, Chung and Bader, we have to wait and see who the other actors are. Otherwise, the cast list is impressive. The new animated series is described as a “reimagining of the Batman mythology” from the perspective of executive producers JJ Abrams, Matt Reeves (writer and director of The Batman) and Bruce Timm.

Batman will encounter an interesting cast of supervillains throughout the series, such as the Penguin, Firebug, Harley Quinn, Clayface, Natalia Knight (also known as Nocturna to comic fans), Two-Face, and Gentleman Ghost. Based on the images released for the series so far, it looks like the series will return to the characters’ early roots, taking inspiration from Batman’s earliest appearances in the pages of Detective comics in the 1930s.
