Recently, Draymond Green reacted to the news that Paul is moving to the Spurs (via The Draymond Green Showh/t The volume).
Green: “That’s a genius move by the Spurs, man. Wow, that’s a genius move. Then CP gets the opportunity to lead the next young face, the next star in the NBA. That’s a great opportunity. He gets the chance to mold him in a way. What an honor. You only get that when you’ve been as great as CP, as respected as CP. That’s the only way you get that chance.”
āThis is a brilliant move by Spursā

Paul finished his year in Golden State averaging 9.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 44.1% from the field and 37.1% from three-point range in 58 games.
Although he is still far from his best, he is still a very reliable point guard for leading an offense.
The Spurs are coming off a season in which they finished 14th in the Western Conference with a record of 22-60.
They missed the NBA playoffs for the fifth consecutive year, but the signing of 2024 Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama makes them one of the most exciting teams in the league.
Wembanyama averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 3.6 blocks per game and shot 46.5% from the field and 32.5% from three-point range.
