Higher Love hosts free 3-day music festival in Republic Township

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – Higher Love Cannabis Co. is hosting a three-day music festival in Republic Township.

The 2024 summer anniversary, Flower to the People, features music, pop-up shops and drinks from the Pine Grove Bar.

Performances include bands from the region as well as from the south of the state and Wisconsin.

Taylor Busch Anderson, marketing director for Higher Love, said it was a fun music festival.

“This is a great opportunity to just come out with friends,” Busch Anderson said. “There will be food trucks. We’ve partnered with the Pine Grove Bar in Republic, so you can pay cash there. We’ll also have vendors, industry vendors, so there will be lots of raffles and giveaways, and like I said, three days of great music.”

The Summer Jubilee takes place Friday through Sunday at the Northern Lights Campground in Republic Township. Admission is free. Children are allowed until 9 p.m. under adult supervision.

Busch-Anderson said they would send a special invitation to seniors and veterans on Sunday to attend a kickoff service at 11 a.m. There will be free food and drinks.

Although the Summer Jubilee is hosted by Higher Love, it is not an official cannabis consumption event and public consumption by participants is not permitted.
