Little Wren’s adorable smile has become even sweeter with the growth of his four baby teeth.

Believe it or not, it has been a whole year since The voice Coach John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen welcomed their son Wren Alexander Stephens. And to celebrate the occasion, Legend posted the cutest picture of their little boy showing off his new teeth.

John Legend’s youngest son Wren was born on Juneteenth.

“Our Juneteenth baby with the big smile and beautiful curls, Wren Alexander, turns 1 today!” Legend wrote on Instagram, sharing snaps of his youngest son. He and Teigen also have an older son, Miles, 6, and two daughters, Luna, 8, and Esti, 18 months).

(Yes, the little boy’s big day happens to fall on Juneteenth, a national holiday celebrated on June 19 that commemorates the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, learned of their freedom, years after the Emancipation Proclamation and months after the end of the Civil War.)

Happy birthday, little guy! Wren has always been a smiling boy. In an interview with PeopleLegend said, “He smiles so much. That’s what we like most about him. He’s such a smiling boy. He just lights up the room and looks like a little Cabbage Patch doll.”

Teigen confirmed this assessment and wrote under Wren’s post for her first birthday: “happiest boy 🥰🥰🥰.”

Wren Alexander Stephens was born via surrogate in 2023, which Teigen announced in an emotional Instagram post at the time.

“Just minutes before midnight on June 19th, I was privileged to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth to a child amidst some chaos, but with strength and pure joy and love. We want to thank you for this incredible gift you gave us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to share with the world that he is here, with a name forever linked to you. Wren Alexander Stephens. Our hearts and our homes are officially full,” she wrote.

Legend’s post about the new arrival, uploaded ten days after his birth, simply read: “Wren Alexander Stephens, our new love.”
