A famous person whose name is not President Joe Biden is currently making waves after being randomly spotted at a restaurant in Delaware.

The celebrity is New York Giants legend Eli Manning, who stopped by Chick-fil-A in north Dover on Monday.

Chick-fil-A raved about Manning’s visit in a Tuesday, July 9, Facebook post, showing a group photo of the Eagles’ longtime rival posing with the restaurant’s staff on Monday night.

“Last night was an even greater day at North Dover Chick-fil-A when our Team Members had the pleasure of serving Eli Manning!” the North Dover restaurant posted on Facebook.

“Thank you, Mr. Manning, for taking the time out of your hectic schedule to quickly take a photo with your adoring fans!”

From joy to confusion, Facebook users expressed mixed emotions after learning that Manning had shown up at Chick-fil-A in Dover.

“Did he drop the nuggets?” someone asked jokingly.

“Very cool – but what the hell was he doing in Dover? lol,” wrote one Facebook user.

“Fly Eagles Fly! #bleedinggreennation,” said one diehard Eagles fan.

“Awesome! G-men!!!” boasted a Giants fan.

Who is Eli Manning?

Eli Manning is the son of Hall of Famer Archie Manning and the younger brother of Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.

Eli was selected number 1 overall in the 2004 NFL Draft and was initially selected by the Chargers. However, he made it public that he did not want to play for that team and was quickly traded to the New York Giants.

The quarterback played all 16 NFL seasons with the Giants, was named to the Pro Bowl four times and won two Super Bowls. He also threw for 57,023 passing yards, currently ranking 10th on the all-time passing yards list.

His two Super Bowl victories against Tom Brady and the Patriots were dramatic, including Super Bowl XLII, where Manning and the Giants inflicted the Patriots’ only loss of the season, preventing the Patriots from becoming the first team in NFL history to finish a season with a 19-0 record.

Although Eli is also retired, he continues to enjoy great popularity in the NFL world as co-host of ESPN’s “ManningCast” along with his brother Peyton.

In April, ESPN announced that Omaha Productions had reached a long-term contract extension through 2034. The deal includes the continuation of the Emmy-winning “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” and other Omaha original content such as “Peyton’s Places” and “Eli’s Places.”
