Summer cooking series: Chef Enrika Williams

VICKSBURG, miss. – Catfish Row Museum continues its Summer Chef Series this Saturday, July 13th at 2:00 p.m. This month’s special guest chef is Chef Enrika Williams.

Williams is the Mississippi born and raised chef and owner of Fauna Foodworks, an abstract, reimagined culinary food lab producing thoughtful, ingredient-based, bohemian-chic cuisine in Jackson, Mississippi.

Creative, social and radically engaged and expressive, Chef Williams is committed to changing conversations and expanding the culinary landscape through the opportunity to consult, host dinner series, pop-ups and curated menus for museums, publications and virtual content. She is also the co-founder of Magnolia Sunset Markets, a curated project in Jackson.

Williams appeared on the Food Network show “Beat Bobby Flay.” The show pits two chefs against each other to compete against famous chef Bobby Flay.

“It was a great experience. I can’t say anything bad except that I couldn’t beat Bobby Flay,” she explained.

Williams can also be seen in an episode of Hotel Hell, where he helps implement the menu and the concept change for the beer garden.

This is the third installment in the series and featured guests including author Susanne Deplantis. For more information about the Summer Chef Series, visit the Catfish Row Museum website here.
