The Linebaugh Library invites author Erin Chesnut to a book signing

MURFREESBORO, TN – The Linebaugh Public Library is pleased to welcome local author Erin Chesnut for a book signing on Saturday, July 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The author will be signing her book, “Fight for Me,” and selling copies.

Fight for Me is about a girl who thinks she’s nothing and a boy who knows she’s everything. Can he show her what she’s worth? And will she believe him when he does? Lexie Preston hasn’t done much right in her life – at least not according to her father – but Colton Derricks seems to be the exception. Handsome, rich and successful, Colt has everything a girl could want… although lately Lexie feels less like she’s been chosen and more like she’s been trapped.

ake Tanner is a country boy who always assumed he’d know the right girl when he found her. Something tells him Lexie is the one, but they’ve passed each other like ships in the night for years… and he’s running out of time to make a good impression. When life forces them to become interns in the same office, Jake finally gets a chance! There’s just one problem: Lexie is already dating someone – someone who clearly doesn’t see her the same way Jake does. Jake takes sassy Grandma Ruby’s advice and starts being there for Lexie in ways her amazing boyfriend never did. But can he show her what true love looks like before she starts a life she’ll regret?

Erin Chesnut lives in Martin, Tennessee with her husband and two children and spends her days as a busy homeschooling mom. She graduated from Riverdale High School in 2008 before moving to West Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her parents, David and Lynda Creech, still live in Rutherford County. Erin previously worked in public relations for UT Martin and has been published in newspapers and magazines across the state. She also won third place in the 86th Annual Writers’ Digest International Contest. Her first novel, Fight for Me, is a Hallmark-style contemporary love story about standing up for yourself and learning to fight for what’s really important.

The author will be signing copies of her book and selling them for $13.99 plus tax. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
