Slick City Indoor Action Park Announces First Location in Minnesota

Parents with young children know how stressful the summer holidays can be. It’s a time when children are in constant need of entertainment and activity, so parents look for new ways to keep them busy.

One study found that children say “I’m bored” about 200 times during the summer, which can turn what should be a relaxing time into a constant search for fun activities in and around Minnesota to keep the kids entertained and occupied.

In the spring, we compiled a list of some of the most spectacular indoor playgrounds in Rochester, Duluth and the Twin Cities region, and now we learn about a new indoor slide park opening in Minnesota.

Slick City is coming to Minnesota

Great news for families in Maple Grove! Slick City, a popular chain known for its indoor slide/action parks, has announced plans to open a brand new location. This will be the first Slick City in Minnesota, joining existing parks in Colorado, Missouri, Texas and Arizona.

We’re used to heading to the Twin Cities for events and attractions, so we’ll be checking out this new park at 10900 Fountains Drive in Maple Grove.

It looks like a fun paradise for kids and adults alike, with giant slides, a huge playground and a trampoline basketball court. And it’s the perfect destination for any weather – whether it’s a rainy day, a hot summer afternoon or during our notoriously harsh winters.

The owners plan to open by next summer.
