Love Island USA fans question Daia’s interest in Odell Beckham Jr.

During the Monday, July 8 episode of Peacock’s hit reality show, the cast was confronted with comments from viewers at home on social media. Daia, in particular, was accused by a fan of leaving flirtatious comments Odell Beckham Jr.‘s pages before she pursued his brother, Cordell Beckhamin the show.

“I can’t stand Daia, especially after reading these tweets about her butting into Odell Beckham Jr.’s comments,” reads one post read by a cast member. Leah Katebexplained. “She came to the mansion with a plan and Kordell’s stupid ass fell for it and threw away all the morals he supposedly had before entering the house.”

When Leah read the message from an unknown viewer, Daia was visibly upset and denied the allegations.

“Are you fucking serious? I’ve never done that in my fucking life,” she said before tears started to well up. “I never have. I swear to God. I’m literally going to cry. This is so fucked up. This is a fucking lie. This is really fucking bullshit.”

Shortly after the episode aired, viewers became detectives, searching for evidence. According to one TikTok user, Daia allegedly left two smiling faces with heart eyes emojis on one of Odell’s Instagram posts. However, other users believe the screenshot was photoshopped, with one fan pointing out that the heart in the corner is blurry.

In a confessional, Daia reiterated that since she entered Casa Amor in June, she had developed a real connection with Kordell and she no longer cared who his family was.

“I really like Kordell,” she explained. “I came here with a real purpose for him and it was never based on anything about his brother. I just think that’s crazy.”

For Serena Pagewho was dating Kordell before he decided to pursue Daia, she made it clear that her fans don’t need to see her social media activity. She explained, “I’m damn sure I wasn’t in his comments.”

Odell has not yet commented publicly on Kordell’s involvement in Love Island USAInstead, he recently shared photos from his 4th of July celebration at Michael Rubin‘s star-studded Christmas party in New York. Two weeks earlier, the NFL player posted cryptically on Instagram: “Inner peace is the new currency …”
