Scarlett Johansson corrects Today’s Savannah Guthrie after the presenter botches a famous line from ‘Jurassic Park’ in an embarrassing moment

ACTRESS Scarlett Johansson politely corrected “Today” presenter Savannah Guthrie for an embarrassing slip-up during the show.

Savannah defaced the most famous quote from the Jurassic Park franchise when she interviewed the star on Tuesday.

Scarlett, 39, was a special guest on the Today show on July 8.

She was surprised with a cameo appearance by 71-year-old Jeff Goldblum in a video welcoming her to the Jurassic World universe as she is set to star in the next film.

“One thing I know, Scarlett, we will find a way,” Goldblum told the actress in the video.

“No way!” said Scarlett, seeming overjoyed by the surprise visit from Jeff, who played Dr. Ian Malcolm in the original film.

The show switched back to Savannah, who told Scarlett, “Water finds a way. It’s an iconic life from the movies!”

“Life finds a way,” Scarlett corrected her sternly.

“Life finds a way!” Savannah replied. “It does.”

“WATER FIND A WAY?”

Savannah’s blunder immediately sparked mass panic on social media and left fans baffled.

“Where the hell did she get ‘Water Finds a Way’?” asked one X-fan.

“‘Water finds a way’ describes her best, to be honest,” wrote another. “Thanks to Scarlett for the correction.”

“Fire the news anchor! ‘Water finds a way’…” yelled a third.

JO-RASIC WORLD!

Scarlett was here today to promote her new movie “Fly Me to the Moon.”

In the clip, however, Jeff instead congratulated the actress on joining the cast of the next Jurassic World film.

The surprise began when Scarlett told Savannah that she was a huge fan of the Jurassic films, starting with the legendary 1993 original.

Then a video was played of Jeff, who appeared in three of the films.

He wore a velociraptor sweater and suit as he delivered his message.

“Doctor Johansson, this is Jeff Goldblum. I want to tell you this. I know Scarlett will find a way,” he said, paraphrasing his character’s classic line from the Steven Spielberg-directed film.

“I love you so much. Don’t let me eat you unless you want to. I love you. Mwah!”

“Oh my God, I can’t believe Jeff actually said that to me. I mean, I think my life is fulfilled now. I can retire,” she joked after correcting Savannah.

Scarlett also recalled that the original Jurassic Park was “one of the first films I saw in the cinema.”

“I was probably 10 or 11 and it completely changed me,” she said of the Oscar-winning adventure film.

“I mean, the experience was – we had never seen anything like it, CGI used in this way. And when you see it, it’s still impressive. I mean, it looks so great.”

The producers of the Jurassic World films announced in February that the next film in the series will be released on July 2, 2025.

In March, it was first reported that Scarlett was in talks to lead the franchise into the future.

For the latest sequel, she is working with franchise newcomer Jonathan Bailey, director Gareth Edwards (“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” “The Creator”) and screenwriter David Koepp, who originally adapted Michael Crichton’s novel “Jurassic Park” for the screen.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard have starred in the last three Jurassic films, the last of which was released in 2022.
