WorldCast Systems has announced the expansion of its Ecreso FM AiO series with two new products and a major software update. The new additions extend the AiO series portfolio up to 2 kW and cover the medium power requirements of broadcasters with 1 kW HR (high redundancy) and 2 kW transmitters in a compact 3U form factor.

The new Ecreso FM AiO series transmitters feature two hot-swappable power supplies (PSU), two fans and two RF pallets. This redundancy ensures continuous operation even if one component fails.

“We are expanding the Ecreso FM AiO series with these medium-power transmitters,” said David Houzé, Ecreso Product Manager at WorldCast Systems. “These extensions provide broadcasters with robust and efficient solutions.”

The 1 kW HR and 2 kW models will be available for testing by the end of this year, with production deliveries beginning in the first quarter of 2025.

WorldCast Systems also releases software version 3.3.0 for the entire AiO series (100W-2kW). This update focuses on SFN applications and integrates an integrated GPS receiver for internal clock references as well as 10MHz and 1PPS outputs for peripherals. The APT IP Decoder has been updated to include APT SynchroStream technology for synchronizing audio content over the network as well as a new Hot Standby mode for automatic stream switching in case of connection loss.

The AiO series now supports the latest SNMP v3 revision, improving the security and management capabilities of FM transmitter fleets.

WorldCast Systems will showcase these new advances at IBC 2024 on booth 8C61.
