New York parolee Chad Irish charged in connection with Yazmeen Williams’ death

A parolee with a long criminal record has been taken into custody and charged after a Big Apple woman was found shot, wrapped in a sleeping bag and dumped outside with the trash, police sources told The Washington Post on Tuesday.

Chad Irish, 55, was charged with concealing a human corpse, illegal possession of a firearm and uttering threats after he was brought in for questioning on Monday in connection with the death of 31-year-old Yazmeen Williams, the sources said.

No murder charges were brought against him in connection with the brutal murder of the 31-year-old victim.

Irish, who was out on parole at the time for a robbery in the Bronx, already had 21 previous convictions, the sources added.

Earlier on Monday, the person in question was harassed by dozens of angry residents when police flew him in for questioning in connection with Williams’ death.

Williams’ body was found stuffed into a sleeping bag late Friday and dumped next to a pile of trash on East 27th Street in Manhattan.

Her death was ruled a homicide after police confirmed on Monday that she had been shot in the head.
