Did Lily Allen have a fight with Kate Moss? The supermodel could be the secret A-list celebrity who confronted the singer for “trying it out with her musician boyfriend”

Perhaps there is an answer for those trying to connect the dots Lily Allen pointed out in her recent podcast interview.

Lily has inevitably sparked wild speculation about the identity of a “successful and incredibly beautiful” A-list celebrity who allegedly warned her about her musician boyfriend.

Allen is now 39 and happily married to Stranger Things star David Harbour. He was 24 years old when the alleged incident occurred in 2009 while preparing for a charity event.

The alleged incident prompted Allen to retaliate at a later awards ceremony, but the singer insists she has since forgiven the unknown celebrity and publicly apologized for her “particularly petty” behavior.

“All is forgiven from my side anyway. But she’s probably just finding out. So if you’re listening and you recognize yourself in this story, I’m sorry. It was particularly petty.”

Speaking on her podcast Miss Me?, the mother of two claims she was confronted by a female celebrity who was “older” and “more successful and famous” than herself after she was asked to perform at the event with the mystery star’s musician boyfriend.

According to Allen, the unnamed star told her, “If you think I’m leaving you alone with my f***ing boyfriend, you’re wrong,” after which she was determined to “get her back someday.”

Allen does not mention the woman’s name, but it could be supermodel Kate Moss.

The British star attended the 2009 Hoping’s Got Talent charity event, which was organized by Moss and held at London’s Café de Paris.

That night, Allen helped raise £48,350 for children’s charity The Hoping Foundation after joining Moss’s then-boyfriend Jamie Hince, guitarist for rock band The Kills, on stage for a performance of “Dream A Little Dream Of Me.”

The X-Factor-themed event also featured stars such as Guy Ritchie, Jemima Khan, Will Young, Tracy Emin and David Walliams, who were guests raising money for community projects for children in Palestinian refugee camps.

Moss eventually married Hince in 2011 during an intimate ceremony at St. Peter’s Church in Gloucestershire before filing for divorce five years later.

Speaking on Monday, Allen recalled being sent to Sir Elton John’s house to curb her excessive drinking when the A-list singer asked her for a favor to raise money for charity.

She explained in detail: “It was when I was managed by Elton John’s company and was sent to his house in the south of France for a few weeks to dry out.”

“And while I was there, I got a call from a very famous person at the time, asking me if I could perform at a charity event she was involved in – she asked me to sing a song with her friend, a musician.

“I said, ‘I’d love to, but it’s next week and I don’t have time to rehearse because I’m in the south of France.’ She said, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll come there and rehearse with you.'”

She said, “They come to the south of France, they arrive, and it’s about late afternoon, and she says, ‘I think you should sing ‘The Sound of Silence.'”

“And I just thought, ‘Oh, I don’t know, I really don’t want to do that – that’s out of my comfort zone.'” And she was stunned.

“I thought, ‘I think maybe it would be better for us to do something like ‘Something Stupid.'”

“I said, ‘Listen, I’m going to go downstairs with your friend and we’ll practice the song. Then we’ll come up and sing it for you and see what you think about it.'”

“And she said, ‘If you think I’m going to leave you alone with my damn boyfriend, you’re wrong.'”

Allen said the incident left her shaken, but she decided to channel her emotions into revenge.

She said: “I was alone in this house, just the two of her and me, and she was a lot older than me and a lot more famous and successful, and I just thought, ‘I’m stuck and you’ve got me trapped.'”

“And I thought to myself, ‘I’ll keep this feeling and I’ll remember it, and one day I’ll get you back.'”

“I didn’t find her boyfriend remotely attractive and she was – and still is – incredibly beautiful and therefore shouldn’t have seen me as a threat in the slightest. I was definitely in my bloated phase.”

A few weeks later, she was approached at an awards ceremony and honored with a prestigious award.

Allen recalled, “And then they said, ‘Is there anyone you’d like to present this award to?’ I said, ‘At what point in the event is this award being presented?’ And they said it was the second to last award.

“I thought to myself, ‘There’s no way this person is going to be able to hold their own for that long, and if I stay sober, they’ll have to present me with the award when I look flawless and brilliant and they’re completely fucked.'”

She added that her plan was a success, saying: “And it bloody well worked. The front pages of the newspapers the next day said something like ‘So-and-so was a total mess’ and then pictures of me with my award.”

The anecdote also refers to Moss, who presented Allen with the Woman of the Year award at the 2009 GQ Awards.

The event didn’t end well for Moss. She was photographed storming the event after actor James Nesbitt made a risqué joke at her expense. Subsequent pictures drew attention to her blemished skin.

Looking back on the incident, Allen said, “I really like that person now. It was just a particularly bad phase that we were both going through at the time.

“All is forgiven on my part anyway. But she’s probably finding out right now. So if you’re listening and you recognize yourself in this story, I’m sorry. It was particularly petty.”
