Opinions are divided on the final list of the 50 best TV series of all time

A list is intended to compile the 50 best television shows of all time and is based on average ratings from IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic.

Pretty accurate, you might think. But people called the list “terrible” and “a joke.”

The top five caused particular trouble:

5 – Band of Brothers (2001)

A drama that describes a unit of US soldiers during World War II in ten episodes, HBO’s Band of Brothers takes the classic war film genre and turns it into an extended miniseries.

With a Rotten Tomatoes critics rating of 96 percent, Band of Brothers is considered one of the best of its kind.

4 – The Sopranos (1999)

HBO’s The Sopranos took the popular mafia film genre and turned it into an extended six-season television series.

The show’s ambiguous ending continues to drive people crazy to this day, although creator David Chase seems to have finally clarified whether Tony Soprano left the diner alive.

3 – Chernobyl (2019)

A dramatization of the devastating nuclear power plant disaster in Pripyat, Ukraine, HBO’s Chernobyl was a five-episode miniseries that captivated viewers and critics alike.

With a 95 percent critic rating and 97 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the film is obviously enjoying great popularity.

2 – Game of Throness (2019)

Among the most popular shows of the modern television era are HBO’s game of Thrones ran for eight seasons and was widely popular for nearly its entire duration.

His highly controversial end probably prevented Receive from reaching the top spot, but it still achieved a very high ranking on all review platforms considered.

Another TV fan was shocked by shows that did not make the top five, explaining: “The Sopranos as number 4 and The cable Number 6 tells me everything I need to know about this terrible list.”

Other angry commenters pointed out things further down the list, such as Friends is the highest ranked sitcom at number 15, beating shows like The office (No. 17), it’s always sunny in Philadelphia (#28) and His field (#30).
