James Conner, Joe Mixon, Kirk Cousins (2024)

James Conner, Joe Mixon, Kirk Cousins (2024)

Although the 2024 NFL regular season is still months away, now is the time to start preparing for fantasy football redraft leagues. Many factors go into helping fantasy football players win their redraft league each year, but the most important factor is drafting players with good value.

Let’s look at some of my favorite fantasy football draft values based on MyFantasyLeague’s average draft position (ADP) for redraft leagues.

Fantasy Football Draft Values: MFL Leagues

Kirk Cousins (QB – ATL) | MFL ADP – QB25

The veteran has been productive for fantasy players despite averaging just 6.4 rushing yards per game in his career. Additionally, Kirk Cousins has been consistently a low-end QB1 since becoming the full-time starter in 2015. Although he is recovering from a torn Achilles, Cousins should be 100% healthy for Week 1. The veteran has an excellent core of receivers in Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Darnell Mooney and Bijan Robinson. Additionally, he is playing most of his games indoors and against questionable defenses this year. Cousins could end up being a top-five fantasy QB in 2024.

Joe Mixon (RB – HOU) | MFL ADP – RB19

While Joe Mixon hasn’t been the most efficient running back, the veteran has finished in the top 12 in half-PPR three straight times. Some fear that Mixon won’t reach the same level of play in Houston as he did with the Cincinnati Bengals. That won’t be the case. Last year, the Texans’ backfield averaged 22 touches per game. Additionally, Devin Singletary was the RB9 and the star player from Week 10 to Week 18, averaging 19.4 touches and 13.2 fantasy points per game. Mixon will remain a lower-end RB1 in Houston.

James Conner (RB – ARI) | MFL ADP – RB29

The downside to James Conner is his injury history, as he has missed four games in back-to-back seasons. Since joining Arizona, he has never finished worse than RB10 on a points-per-game basis in half-PPR. Last year, the veteran had the fourth-highest explosive run rate (6.3%) and the third-highest number of missed forced tackles per run attempt among running backs with at least 150 attempts, according to Fantasy Points Data. Although the Cardinals spent a third-round pick on Trey Benson, the rookie will not replace Conner as the starter in 2024.
