Industrial rubber and fluid power distributor Singer Industrial made two leadership changes and announced two promotions on June 18.

Pete Haberbosch

The Houston-based company has appointed Pete Haberbosch, the company’s former vice president of business development and M&A, as president.

A press release detailed that Haberbosch has been in the industrial supply industry for 30 years, the last 10 of which have been with Singer. Chris Holder

In addition, Chris Holder, former VP of Operational Excellence at Singer, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. The company noted that Holder has 28 years of industrial business experience, including the last eight years at Singer, where he served in a variety of operational roles. Prior to Singer, Holder was Director of Operations at Lewis-Goetz.

“Our leaders have years of experience and a track record of success that has made them well-known and respected in our industry,” said Don Fritzinger, chairman of Singer Industrial. “Pete’s commitment to our core values, his success in supporting our field operations, and his leadership skills and industry background make him the perfect choice as Singer Industrial’s next president.”

Haberbosch and Holder will work closely with Singer Rubber Division President Sam Petillo and Fluid Power President Scott Wojciak.

Going forward, Haberbosch and Holder will work closely with Sam Petillo, president of the Rubber Products Division, and Scott Wojciak, president of the Fluid Power Division, as commercial leaders of their respective business units.
