Will a live-action Frozen film be released in 2025? Speculation about a remake explained

Promotional material for an alleged live-action remake of Disney’s Frozen arouses the curiosity of the audience and they wonder if the premiere is planned for 2025.

Is there a live-action version of Frozen?

Two new trailers from YouTubers Darth Trailer and KH Studio on YouTube give a taste of a live-action film Frozen The film will be released in 2025.

The former contains footage from Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Star Anya Taylor-Joy plays the role of Elsa and Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown as Anna, while the latter features game of Thrones“Emilia Clarke as Elsa.

These two trailers are both fake as they both come from YouTube channels known for creating disingenuous trailers for hypothetical movies.

Currently, there are no publicly revealed plans for Disney to make a live-action remake Frozen. However, considering the prospects for other franchises that receive this treatment, Frozen Perhaps one day there will be a switch to a live-action format.

What’s next for the Frozen franchise?

During the Walt Disney Company’s first conference call on its 2023 quarterly results (according to Deadline), Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed the Frozen Franchise will continue in cinemas with Frozen 3.

Iger also hinted that the new sequel will be released sometime in 2026. Considering Disney’s free dates, the debut could take place on November 25, 2026, although nothing is officially confirmed from that perspective yet.

In an exclusive interview with The Direct Frozen And Frozen 2 Producer Peter Del Vecho explained that Disney only makes sequels if they “I think there is enough to tell.” He also gave a preview of what is coming in the next sequels and told how he “trust that it will be great.”

Along with Frozen 3Disneyland may have a Frozen-inspired attraction in the works after the Anaheim City Council voted in favor of DisneylandForward in April.

There are no official plans yet, but Frozen seems to be under consideration for a new land or attraction as it is one of Disney’s most popular franchises.

As for a live-action remake, fans are eagerly awaiting more information on if and when Frozen could get this treatment.
