Allison Paige McCleery – Voice of Muscatine


Allison Paige McCleery, 33, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Allison was born on March 25, 1991 in Muscatine to Gregory A. and Marsi A. Gordon Adcock. She married Tug McCleery on May 2, 2017 in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Allison graduated from Muscatine High School in 2009. She then went on to earn a business degree from Iowa Wesleyan University in 2012 and a master’s degree in business administration from St. Ambrose University in 2018. She worked at Drive Social Media as an operations manager in Nashville, Tennessee.

Allison loved watching sports, especially the Yankees, Hawkeyes, and any other teams her husband coached. She loved attending book and wine club with her Tennessee girls. Allison also loved to travel. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her son Kannon.

Allison will be sadly missed by her husband Tug McCleery of Muscatine, her son Kannon Thomas McCleery of Muscatine, her parents Greg and Marsi Adcock, both of Muscatine, her brother Austin Adcock of Muscatine, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Thomas and Tami McCleery, her maternal grandparents Mike and Carole Gordon, many friends and family, and her dogs Hayden and Tate.

Allison’s death was preceded by the deaths of her paternal grandparents, Dwaine and Patti Adcock.
