Enforcement agency questions Haryana singer Rahul Fazilpuria in money laundering case

Lucknow:

The Lucknow unit of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) interrogated Haryana-born singer Rahul Yadav alias Rahul Fazilpuria for over 10 hours at its office in Hazratganj on Monday, an Enforcement Directorate official said.

According to sources, Rahul Yadav, 33, is a friend of YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT season 2, Elvish Yadav

Law enforcement questioned the singer about allegedly obtaining proceeds from crime and using illegal funds to organize rave parties.

Sources added that he would be summoned again.

The law enforcement agency had initiated a money laundering case against Elvish Yadav in connection with the rave party at which snake venom was allegedly administered.

The agency had filed the case after learning about an FIR filed against him in Noida last month.

Sources in the law enforcement agency said that Elvish Yadav’s bank account details and the properties acquired by him were being probed.

Gurugram police had recently arrested Rahul Yadav and Elvish Yadav for allegedly using rare species of snakes and a .32 caliber pistol in a music video.

Haryana’s Jannayak Janta Party had fielded Rahul Yadav from Gurugram in the Lok Sabha elections, but he lost to Rao Inderjit Singh of the BJP.
