Templeton won the Ocean League girls’ track and field team championship, and the Eagles boast the league’s most valuable player in Templeton junior Kennedy McAdoo.
McAdoo won both the 100-meter and 200-meter titles in the Ocean League finals. Kiara Taylor, a senior from Atascadero, is the league’s top performer. Taylor won the shot put and discus in the league finals.
Santa Maria Valley has two representatives on the All-League First Team, Santa Maria junior Maria Navarro in the 100-meter hurdles and St. Joseph senior Kai Oani in the long jump. Navarro won the 100-meter hurdles in the league finals and Oani won the long jump.
Oani signed with Atenio de Madrid University in the Philippines to play basketball last spring.
