WWE confirms Star is out due to injury

On tonight’s July 8 episode of WWE Raw, an injury was confirmed when one half of a tag team appeared to be battling alone.

During Pete Dunne’s appearance on WWE Raw tonight before his match against “Big” Bronson Reed, Michael Cole shared some news about Dunne’s tag partner in the New Catch Republic, Tyler Bate.

It has been determined that Tyler Bate will be “out of action for a while” after sustaining an injury during an NXT match last week.

On the July 2 episode of the show, the New Catch Republic faced Hank Walker and Tank Ledger and achieved victory.

After tonight’s match, Dunne appeared to reject a Brawling Brutes reunion with Sheamus after he came out to fend off a post-match attack from Reed.

Dunne seemed disinterested and pushed Sheamus away, although Sheamus wasn’t sure why Dunne would have a problem with him.

While there was no actual physical breakup of the Brawling Brutes, the group – Sheamus, Dunne (then called Butch) and Ridge Holland – was essentially forced to disband after Sheamus suffered an injury and was absent from television for eight months.
