A curfew has been imposed in Carlisle: Police

Jarrek Michael Anderson, 18, of Carlisle, is “wanted in connection with an incident that occurred on June 26 at Memorial Park, 150 W Penn St,” according to a police statement released the following day.

A police operation was announced on July 8 in connection with the manhunt for him in the area of ​​South Pitt and West Ridge streets.

A police press release states:

“All residents are asked to remain in their homes, keep their doors locked and notify police of any suspicious activity. There is no active threat to the public, but we ask that you stay away from the area so police can work.”

According to court documents, Anderson is wanted on charges of endangering the welfare of a child by parent, guardian or other person, simple assault and a summary charge of harassment – subjecting another person to physical contact.

The police press release from Monday evening states:

“Jarrek Anderson is wanted on multiple warrants and is in the area.”

The charges resulting from the arrest warrants are currently unknown.
