Taylor Swift wowed her fans during her first performance on the Amsterdam Eras Tour with an impromptu live acoustic medley of her 2019 hit “The Archer” and her 2021 song “Question…?”

The 34-year-old Grammy winner sat at the piano and captivated the audience with her soulful performance at the Johan Cruijff Arena on July 4th.

The Tortured Poets Department songwriter played three shows in the Dutch capital over the weekend and seemingly moved her boyfriend Travis Kelce to tears two days later, on July 6, with another combination of songs (we’ll get into that below!).

Taylor Swift delights fans with an unexpected live mashup of “The Archer” and “Question…?”

A clip of Swift’s first performance in Amsterdam recently went viral on TikTok, where her fans called her performance an “insane mashup” and “one of the best ever.”

In the video, Swift is seen smiling as she quickly switches from a song from her album Lover to one from her LP Midnights. One fan shared the footage and captioned it: “Taylor smiling knowing she’s about to pull off the most random mashup of the tour of this era so far.”

Numerous fans expressed their surprise and delight in the comments section, pointing out that the two songs harmonized in an unexpectedly perfect way. “I literally had goosebumps,” one raved, while another noted, “This is the best mashup I’ve ever heard and I’m so upset I wasn’t there.” (Us, too!)

Two nights later, Swift took the stage again and sat down at her piano, this time combining her 2012 hit “Everything Has Changed,” her 2006 song “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)” and her 2024 song “So High School” (which is rumored to be about her boyfriend, NFL athlete Kelce, 34). The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was spotted and filmed by fans in the crowd as he appeared to wipe tears from his eyes.

Swift notably sang the title of the first song, “Everything Has Changed,” before moving into a lyric from “So High School” (a favorite song of Kelce’s, as he noted in a recent interview). But it didn’t stop there. Swift then moved on to a striking line from her 2006 song, “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89, I’ll still be looking at you like the stars that shine.”

Kelce proudly wears number 87 for the Chiefs and interestingly, he and Swift were both born in the same year, 1989. This led many fans to believe that their emotional mashup was a heartfelt tribute to him and possibly “moved him to tears.”
