Shortly before Andrew Olesh announced his commitment, things got started when four-star safety Ivan Taylor announced he would transfer from Notre Dame to Michigan for the 2025 cycle. But it wasn’t over yet.
It was another big win for Michigan football on Monday night as 2025 four-star tight end Andrew Olesh announced his decision to join the Wolverines over Alabama, Florida and Penn State.

Olesh hails from Center Valley (PA) Southern Lehigh and is considered the 118th-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle and the No. 5 tight end according to the Composite. With Olesh on the team, Michigan now has 16 commitments and Olesh is the Wolverines’ fourth-best recruit in the 2025 cycle.
Olesh is the second tight end Michigan has for 2025, along with Eli Owens. The 6-foot-4 Pennsylvania native is an all-around tight end. He caught nearly 1,000 yards in his penultimate year of high school and hopes to make an even bigger impact in his senior year.
After Olesh joined the Wolverines, there was a ton of great reactions on social media. Here are the best we could find.
