Action News reporter is photobombed on the Ocean City Boardwalk

This weekend video of 6ABC’s Katie Katro getting photobombed on the Ocean City Boardwalk went viral on our Instagram page. Just a classic Boobs McGee prank:

There’s just something so innocent about a good reporter photobomber. It takes you back to the days before FHRITP, when the internet was just videos of dumb answers on game shows and live hit songs from reporters. I’m talking about Leprechaun in Mobile, Alabama and the Hide Yo Kids, Hide Yo Wife guys. A simpler time. Nice to see that despite all the hours of content rotting our brains every day, people are still enjoying the hits in 2024.

Can you believe this happened at America’s largest family resort? You’d think this was on the Wildwood Boardwalk, right? Maybe five years ago. Now it’s all stabbings, a broken Ferris wheel, and soon, giant windmills littering the shoreline. It’s kind of nice to see Ocean City get a dampener. It’s poetic that this is happening on Action News. The Ocean City of news networks. They both think they’re better than everyone else. Like they’re a perfect, happy family. As we saw with the Jamie Apody thing, they’re as messed up as the rest of us. Give me Fox29 all day. You never know what might go off the rails next.
