The long, loving relationship between Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie XO

Bunnie XO is the stepmother of Jelly Roll’s daughter Bailee Ann from a previous relationship. The teenager was born on May 22, 2008. Jelly Roll also has a son named Noah, who was born in August 2016. His son was with a woman the singer was previously in a relationship with.

In an episode of the podcast from June 2023 Kissing With The Boys, Jelly Roll revealed that Bunnie XO helped him get custody of Bailee, which he did in 2017. The couple had only been together for over a year, but she didn’t hesitate to help him when Jelly Roll needed it most. She helped him find a condo and build a family-sized home after previously traveling across the country in his car.

“I’ll never forget Bunnie looking at me and – man, this touches me – saying, ‘No matter what happens to us, I’m going to help you get the girl.’ And I thought to myself, ‘Man, what a character, you know what I mean?'”

“It takes a special kind of woman to raise a child that isn’t her child and still treat them like they are one. Bunnie is that special woman outside of social media, outside of the podcast and all the business ventures she does and helps me with; Bunnie is a beautiful soul,” Jelly Roll shared in a May 2020 Facebook post. “She is kind, patient and caring. Watching her relationship with Bailee blossom over the years into this beautiful mother-daughter bond that it has become has been nothing short of magical.”

Jelly Roll continued, “I am truly blessed with the best partner I could have asked for in life. You are the epitome of a good mother and deserve more recognition than anyone else because you didn’t have to try as hard. You chose to do this and man, you did it.”

At a performance in June 2024 on Kissing with the boysJelly Roll revealed that the couple had begun exploring IVF options in hopes of welcoming another child into the family. A month after this announcement, Bunnie XO shared a clip from the podcast on Instagram with some additional background on the couple’s decision to keep fans updated.

“We had planned to do this privately, but decided our IVF journey needed to be shared because we’ve always been so open,” Bunnie XO explained in a July 2024 episode of her Stupid blonde Podcast. “And with all odds against us, it was always going to be hard and we’ve only just begun.”

“We wanted to keep it off the internet because that’s the way the internet is; they love to ruin beautiful things,” she explained. “I thought about it and I was like, ‘My husband is fucking excited to have a child with me. How cool is that? If he wants to fucking shout it from the mountaintops, then damn it, let him. I don’t care what I think about what other people think.'”
