Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is the No. 1 song in the United States this week. The country single, which adapts J-Kwon’s 2009 single “Tipsy,” is the first song by a black male artist to top both the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts simultaneously.

Although “Tipsy” made a strong debut on the Hot 100 in April, the song’s rise to No. 1 was slow, and its position in the Top 10 was inevitable. Shortly after Shaboozey made its Stagecoach debut, it landed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, replacing Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em.” This was a true milestone, as its previous Hot 100 entries were for “Texas”‘s predecessor LP, “Cowboy Carter”: “Spaghettii” (No. 31) and “Sweet * Honey * Buckiin'” (No. 61).

“Tipsy” leads this week’s charts (June 28-July 4) with 60 million radio airplay, 45 million streams and 23,000 copies sold. Shaboozey’s LP “Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going,” meanwhile, is at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

There are many new artists in the Top 10 this week: Sabrina Carpenter continues her one-two punch with “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” at No. 4 and No. 6, respectively, Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” is at No. 5, Bensoon Boone’s “Beautiful Things” is at No. 8, Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” is at No. 9, and Chappell Roan scores her first Top 10 hit with “Good Luck Babe!” at No. 10.

Roan’s pop hit garnered 20.9 million streams and 16 million airplay impressions, while her latest album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, reached the top five of the album charts for the first time, peaking at number 5.

The album chart itself continues to be led by Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department,” which has been at the top for the eleventh week in a row. It is her longest-running album at No. 1, along with Swift’s “1989” and “Fearless.” Also in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart is Megan Thee Stallion’s “Megan” at No. 3, while Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” returns to the top 10 at No. 10 following the release of a deluxe vinyl edition.
