In a series of her New heights In the podcast, the Kelce duo reveal their daily lives, both in and out of football. Among other things, Travis asks his brother Jason for a “cow update.” Jason mentions that the herd is “growing fast.” But Travis is transfixed and sings Toby Keith’s “Should’ve Been a Cowboy.” Then the two continue singing the cult record in unison. “I’m so shocked you know this song,” says Jason Kelce.

Travis Kelce then posted the clip of them breaking out into song on his TikTok to promote the podcast episode. He captioned the video, “I love you guys #chiefskingdom but I’ve made the difficult decision to take next year off and go on tour with Jason? JUST KIDDING!! I wouldn’t trade my job for the world! ??”
I guess we’ll have to wait for the Kelce family country album.
Toby Keith was thrilled by the tribute to the Kelce family
Toby could barely contain his joy when two of the NFL’s biggest stars sang one of his biggest hits. He shared the video of the Kelce brothers singing to his Instagram story on January 29. This happened just a week before Toby Keith’s death.
Toby had been quietly battling a diagnosis of stomach cancer since 2021. However, the Keith family sadly announces his death on February 5, 2024. “Toby Keith passed away peacefully last night on February 5 surrounded by his family. He fought his battle with grace and courage. Please respect the family’s privacy at this time,” the family wrote in a statement.
Today is Toby Keith’s birthday. He would have been 63 years old. Maybe we can do what the Kelce boys did and sing “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” in his honor.
