Love Island USA’s Connor explains the boys’ fashion choices in season 6

Season 6 of Love Island USA was an emotional rollercoaster ride – but the drama is not the only thing that is at the center. Fans, including Uswere fascinated by the many (questionable) style statements, especially by a certain accessory that the boys wore.

In several episodes, the men in the villa wore the same massive metal chain with a dangling spider pendant. At first it was Cordell Beckhamthen it was Miguel Harichi and then came Rob Rausch(Rob chose to wear the sparkly piece with just a blue jumpsuit.)

Ex-Islander Connor Newsum exclusively told We weekly that although the travel chain belongs to Kordell, the clothing and accessories in the villa are “quite public”.

“If you see this necklace, it’s Kordell borrowing it,” Connor explained. Of course, Kordell isn’t the only islander sharing jewelry. Connor said Us The Kendall Washington also has an impressive jewelry collection.

“We all joke that Kendall will have to deal with jewelry after he gets released. He has this whole drawer full of necklaces and stuff. Whenever I wore a necklace, it was Kendall’s. I think at one of the eliminations I wore a big gold Cuban chain. I’m not a huge jewelry fan, but I had fun.”

Jewelry may not be Connor’s thing, but flashy swim trunks definitely are. Before leaving the villa, Connor was the talk of social media thanks to his American flag swim trunks.

The trunks became an artifact when Connor chose to leave the item behind when he was sent home in Episode 16. He hung the garment over the villa’s bedroom door and all of his island mates saluted the trunks before saying goodbye to Connor.

“I’ve had these shorts for so long and all my old friends called me when I came out and said, ‘We saw you on TV in those shorts,'” Connor explained. “Of course I left them at the mansion for everyone to enjoy, but I bought them for the Fourth of July (years ago) and I’ve worn them every Fourth of July since then.”

During his time on the show, Connor made contacts with JaNa Craig And Leah Kateb. Fans saw Connor’s connection with Leah (for her part) quickly fall apart, without him realizing that she wasn’t into him. Leah grew closer to Miguel and chose him over Connor when it was time to date again. Her decision sent Connor away.
