Where to buy tickets, best prices

Taylor Swift’s passport has been the subject of quite a bit of action this summer.

Last month alone, the 34-year-old pop star visited the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and Switzerland as part of her “Eras Tour” with special guest Paramore.

Next, she brings her career-spanning live show to the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy, on July 13 and 14.

These two concerts are her first in Italy in over 13 years; she last performed at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan on March 15, 2011 as part of her “Speak Now World Tour”.

As expected, witnessing their return to Da Vinci’s homeland will not be cheap.

At the time of publication, the lowest ticket price we could find was $488 before fees at Vivid Seats.

Stallion seats start at $1,522 before fees.

That may seem expensive, but considering that when we last reported on ticket prices for the Eras Tour’s Italian concerts, prices started at $1,019 before fees, it’s not that bad.

News about Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour”

Our team followed the “Eras Tour” closely last year.

We’ve spent the past few months talking to a Swiftie who gave us helpful tips for attending Taylor’s live performances, reported on falling ticket prices, and compiled a list of the most exciting fan trends.

Taylor Swift – new music

Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department was released at midnight (and later at 2 a.m.) on Friday, April 19.

While every listener will likely have their own favorites, we particularly enjoyed the elegant, synthy “Fortnight,” the icy “So Long, London,” the anthemic “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” the bombastic, slow build of “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” and the beautifully arranged “Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus.”

If you want to give it a try – that is, if you are one of the few people in the world who hasn’t done so yet – you can find The Tortured Poets Department here.

Paramore

The pop-punk rockers, fronted by Hayley Williams, will be opening for Swift from May to August this year. This may come as a bit of a surprise to some fans, considering that the group has itself scheduled a successful arena tour in 2023.

This tour took place immediately following Paramore’s reunion in 2022; before that, the band had taken a five-year hiatus.

Fans looking to hear their latest can listen to their 2023 album “This Is Why” here.

Big stars on tour in 2024

Although it will cost a fortune (sometimes more!) to see Swift live this year, there are much cheaper concerts – probably in the US – that you can attend this year.

Here are just five of our favorite artists you shouldn’t miss live.

• Olivia Rodrigo

• Kacey Musgraves

• Pink

• Gracie Abrams

• Billie Eilish
