Dua Lipa rocks see-through dress held together with safety pins

We’ve been obsessed with Dua Lipa’s style for a loooong time, but we have to say, her latest fashion look might be our favorite yet!

The music icon recently teamed up with Rihanna’s stylist Jahleel Weaver to put together a wardrobe full of lace, leather and rips that makes Dua look like a dreamy rock queen.

FYI, one of the duo’s biggest achievements together was Dua’s appearance at the 2024 Met Gala, where she wore a sheer lace and feather dress by none other than Marc Jacobs.

And now Dua and Jaheel have delivered another look for the ages. Taking to Instagram, she shared a carousel of images from her performance at the Open’er Festival in Poland on July 4. The singer can be seen wearing a black skater dress with stripes of sheer lace, lingerie-style straps and a thigh slit.

What really takes this sexy look to the next level is the row of safety pins that zigzag up the thigh slit.

The Versace dress seems to reference one of the most important fashion moments in pop culture: when Elizabeth Hurley wore a Versace silk and Lycra dress decorated with several oversized gold safety pins, Four weddings and one death Premiere at the beginning of her fame.

In the years since, the look has been referenced by none other than Anne Hathaway, who wore a white dress covered in eye-catching safety pins at the 2023 Met Gala.
