Kathryn Hahn returns as WandaVision witch

Kathryn Hahn returns as witch Agatha Harkness in the first trailer for the Disney+ series Agatha – All the time.

A spin-off series of the 2021 Disney+ show WandaVision, Agatha – All the time comes from creator Jac Schaeffer and will premiere on the streaming service with the first two episodes on September 18. The cast of the Marvel Television project is rounded out by Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili and Debra Jo Rupp.

Hahn repeats her WandaVision Role as Agatha, who loses her powers after a teenager frees her from a spell and pushes her to attempt a dangerous test called the Witches’ Path.

“I miss the glory days,” Hahn says in the trailer. “She took away every bit of power I had, and I can be that witch again.”

A later moment shows Hahn having to stand up for himself with a little bit of bite. “What witch in their right mind would join Agatha Harkness’ coven?” LuPone asks in the footage. This prompts Hahn to respond, “I don’t happen to be looking for sane witches.”

Schaeffer, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum and Mary Livanos are executive producers of the series. Directors for Agatha – All the time include Schaeffer, Rachel Goldberg and Gandja Montiero.

Disney announced the series title and premiere date during its upfront presentation in May.

Hahn’s recent projects include the Hulu series Small beautiful thingsfor which she received her third Emmy nomination.

At the time of her Emmy nomination last year, the actress said The Hollywood Reporter that shortly after filming Small beautiful thingsthen “she went straight into Agatha (The whole time). It was a great experience, but I was also out of town a lot, so I’m just happy to be home for a while.”
