Almeda Club joins forces with Stan Ray and artist Edwin Bolta for new collaboration

In Rockaway, Queens, the Almeda Club is a sprawling incubator for surfing, wellness, collaboration and community. Founded by Graham Hill and Joe Falcone, the unique members-only club is home to saunas, surf lockers, a hair salon, after-school programs and currently an exhibition by artist Edwin Bolta titled WAY WAY CAMINOwith 18 paintings, an animated short film and a giant wooden sculpture.

To inaugurate the new showcase, the club has signed a fashion collaboration with American workwear brand Stan Ray, fully adorned with Bolta’s signatures. The line includes US-made Double Knee Painter Pants and Shop Jackets, both of which utilize Bolta’s special indigo dyeing process and feature local embroidery.

The artist’s flagship symbol, the “flower,” is featured on each silhouette, while the Almeda Club and Bolta Fabrications logos are embroidered as patches on the back. Graphic t-shirts are inspired by the paintings in the exhibition, and a classic Bolta Fabrications cap makes way for the Almeda Club shield.

Edwin Boltas WAY WAY CAMINO is on display at Almeda Club now through the end of July. The accompanying collection is currently available in-store and online. Check out the line in the gallery above.
